Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 1, 2026 — because time marches on and so does our paranoia about your data
GO VOIP TELECOM, LLC ("GO VOIP TELECOM", "we", "us", "our", "the folks in Florida who really like phone numbers") operates this website and provides wholesale telecommunications services. This Privacy Policy is our attempt to explain, in plain English (with occasional humor), what happens to the bits and bytes you entrust to us.
Think of this document as the terms of a healthy relationship: we'll be upfront about what we're doing, you can set boundaries, and nobody steals anybody's stuff. Deal?
By using this Site, you acknowledge the existence of this Policy. If you disagree, please close this browser tab and maybe go read a book instead — we hear paper is very private.
1. Who We Are (and Who We Aren't)
We are GO VOIP TELECOM, LLC, a scrappy telecommunications company headquartered in Indialantic, Florida — a beach town so small that our servers are probably the most interesting thing on the block. We are not a faceless tech conglomerate, a three-letter agency, or your nosy neighbor. Just telecom nerds who take privacy seriously.
2. What We Collect (and What We Don't)
We're minimalists at heart. Here's the exhaustive list of what we might collect:
Stuff You Hand Over Voluntarily
- Your name — because "Hey you!" isn't great customer service
- Business email — so we can send you delightful (okay, professional) correspondence
- Phone number — ironic, we know, for a telecom company to want your phone number
- Company name — we like knowing who we're doing business with
- Service interests — like a restaurant menu, but for telecom
- Message contents — whatever prose you choose to share with us via forms
Stuff We Automatically Collect (Blame the Servers)
- IP address — the internet's version of a return address
- Browser type — Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or that one weird fork of Netscape you're still running
- Pages visited and timestamps — we call this "analytics," not "stalking"
- Referring URL — how you found us (thanks, Google!)
Stuff We Absolutely, Positively DO NOT Collect
- Your Social Security number (we have enough numbers already, thanks)
- Your cat's name, birthday, or Instagram handle
- Your credit card details via this website (we use PCI-compliant processors for that)
- Biometric data (we don't need your fingerprint; we trust you)
- Your deepest, darkest secrets (unless you put them in the message field — please don't)
🔍 Curious what data we currently have on you?
This page is static HTML. We don't track you across the web. But if it makes you feel better, click below for a totally real, definitely-not-fake report:
3. How We Use It (Spoiler: Not for World Domination)
We use information for exactly what you'd expect. We're not building secret profiles or training sentient AI on your form submissions (though that would make a great sci-fi plot).
- To respond to you — you ask, we answer. Revolutionary concept.
- To provide quotes and information — you wanted pricing; we're delivering.
- To operate and improve the Site — broken things get fixed, popular things get more attention.
- To prevent fraud — because bad actors ruin everything for everyone.
- To comply with the law — we like staying out of jail.
- For internal analytics — we look at aggregate trends, not individual browsing histories. We're not that bored.
Legal bases (for our European friends): Contractual necessity, legitimate interest, consent where required, and legal obligation. We tried to think of a funny one, but GDPR isn't known for its comedy.
4. Marketing Consent (The Pestering Opt-In)
When you give us your phone number, you're not signing up for a lifetime of robocalls. Promise. But you are saying we can reach out about the thing you asked about. That's just polite follow-up.
You can opt out anytime:
- Email: Click unsubscribe. (We use real unsubscribe links, not the kind that "take 7-10 business days" — looking at you, 2005-era mailing lists.)
- SMS: Reply STOP. Our feelings won't be hurt. We'll just assume you're busy.
- Phone calls: Tell us you're not interested. We can take a hint.
Even if you opt out of marketing, we may still contact you about an active inquiry or your account. That's not marketing; that's operations. There's a difference, and the FTC agrees.
5. Who We Tell (Basically Nobody)
We don't sell your information. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone waving a checkbook. We're a telecom company, not an information reseller.
Here's the short list of who might see your data:
- Our service providers — hosting, email delivery, CRM (they're contractually bound to keep your secrets)
- Our affiliates — if we ever get big enough to have those
- Law enforcement — with a valid subpoena, court order, or when someone's doing something truly awful
- If we get acquired — in which case, lucky you, you get a whole new privacy policy to read!
6. CPNI — Fancy Acronym, Serious Business
Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI) is telecom-speak for "stuff about your usage that's extra protected." Federal law says we have to guard it like a dragon guards treasure. We do.
CPNI includes things like: what services you buy, how much you use them, call detail records, and technical configurations. It's the telecom equivalent of your browsing history, except Congress actually passed laws about it.
- ✅ We use CPNI to provide and bill for services (obviously)
- ✅ We may use it to offer you related services (the "hey, would you also like fries with that?" scenario)
- ❌ We do NOT sell CPNI (not allowed, not interested)
- ✅ You can restrict our use of CPNI for marketing. Just ask.
We take CPNI so seriously that even our CPNI compliance documents have CPNI compliance documents. It's compliance all the way down.
7. Cookies (The Digital Kind, Not the Delicious Kind)
We use cookies — tiny text files that sit in your browser like a digital Post-it note. We wish they were chocolate chip, but alas, they are not.
| Cookie Type | What It Does | Edible? |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly Necessary | Keeps the site working. Without these, forms break and chaos ensues. | No |
| Analytics | Tells us which pages are popular. We use Google Analytics, loaded via Google Tag Manager only after you consent. | Still no |
| Marketing / Attribution | Helps us know if our ads are worth the money. Loaded only with your consent. | Why do you keep asking this? |
Your choices:
- Accept all cookies and enjoy the full experience
- Reject non-essential cookies (we'll respect that)
- Use your browser settings to block everything (some things may break, but that's your prerogative)
- We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals, because we're not monsters
8. Data Retention (We're Not Hoarders… Mostly)
We keep your data only as long as it serves a purpose. Once the purpose is fulfilled, we delete it, anonymize it, or lovingly archive it per legal requirements. We don't maintain a digital shrine to your old contact forms.
Retention guidelines:
- Contact form submissions: kept until the inquiry is resolved, plus a reasonable follow-up period
- Customer account data: kept while you're a customer, plus whatever the tax man and telecom regulators require
- Server logs: rotated regularly (they're boring and take up space)
- CPNI: retained per FCC requirements (ask our compliance officer for the exact statute — they love talking about it)
If data retention were an episode of a home organization show, we'd be "moderately tidy with occasional piles."
9. Security (Our Digital Fortress)
We secure your data like it's our own — because in many ways, it is. We use:
- TLS encryption — all data in transit is scrambled like eggs
- Access controls — only people who need your data can see your data
- Firewalls and monitoring — the digital equivalent of a moat with alligators
- Regular security reviews — we check for vulnerabilities more often than we check our email
- PCI-compliant payment processing — we don't store credit cards ourselves; that's a headache we don't want
But let's be real: no security is perfect. If a nation-state actor really wants your data, they're probably not starting with a mid-size telecom in Florida. We do our absolute best, and we're transparent if something goes wrong.
10. International Visitors
This Site is hosted in the United States (specifically, somewhere in a data center that's probably humming quietly right now). If you're visiting from abroad, your data crosses international borders to reach us. By using the Site, you consent to this transfer.
For EEA/UK visitors, we use Standard Contractual Clauses where required. If you have questions about data transfers, email us — we'll do our best to answer without using too many legal acronyms, but we can't make promises about the GDPR.
11. Kids These Days
This is a business-to-business website. It is not directed at children. If you're under 16 and reading this, either (a) you're a very precocious businessperson, or (b) you're in the wrong place. Either way, we don't knowingly collect information from you.
If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us immediately and we will delete it faster than a toddler can hide your car keys.
12. Your Rights (Yes, You Have Those!)
Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights regarding your personal information. Here they are, demystified:
| Right | What It Means | How to Exercise It |
|---|---|---|
| Right to Know / Access | Ask us what we have on you. We'll tell you (it's probably not much). | Email us |
| Right to Correct | If we got your name wrong, tell us. We'll fix it. | Email us |
| Right to Delete | Ask us to delete your data. Poof! (Subject to legal retention obligations.) | Email us |
| Right to Portability | Get a copy of your data in a machine-readable format. Spreadsheets for everyone! | Email us |
| Right to Opt Out of Sale/Sharing | We don't sell or share, so this one's easy. Nothing to opt out of. | Sleep easy |
| Right to Non-Discrimination | Exercise your rights without being penalized. We're not petty. | Inherent |
California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)
Californians get extra rights because California is extra. You can request: categories and specific pieces of info we collect, sources, purposes, and third-party disclosures. Spoiler: we already spelled all that out above. We don't sell or share personal information. If you still want to submit a formal request, see Section 13. You may use an authorized agent; we'll verify their authority because that's just responsible.
Other State Residents
Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and others with shiny new privacy laws: same rights as above. We don't play favorites among states (except Florida, where we're based, and even then only in our hearts).
Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) Form
You can submit a formal privacy request at any time. We'll respond within the timeframes required by law — usually faster, because who likes waiting?
13. Talk to Us
We answer our own emails, for better or worse. If you have privacy questions, requests, concerns, or just want to tell us our privacy policy made you chuckle, reach out:

14. We Reserve the Right to Tweak
Laws change. Our practices evolve. Sometimes we think of a better way to phrase things. When we update this Policy, we'll post the new version here and update the "Last updated" date. If the changes are material, we'll let you know more prominently (like a banner, or an email if we have your address).
Your continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the new Policy. If you don't accept it, that's okay — we'll still be friends, but you should probably stop using the Site.
